Today's post is about one of my favorite topics to learn and read about, reincarnation! The information in today's post is derived from two different sources-- You Were Born Again to Be Together written by Richard Sutphen who is a world-wide recognized spiritual hypnotherapist. This book was written in the 1976. The second source comes from the book, Destiny of Souls-New Case Studies of Life Between Lives, written by Counseling Psychologist, Master Hypnotherapist & teacher Michael Newton, PH.D in 2012.
The book, You Were Born to Be Together Again, begins with, Love is the most powerful force in the Universe. Not time, birth, death, or rebirth can finally separate those who have formed a deep mental, spiritual, or physical bond. The soul's affinity has been established and those who know or have known love will always be ONE.
Physical separation and parting for more than a short period of time, as we know it is absolutely impossible. MENTAL separation is unknown on a subconscious level. Communication will always continue, although it may not be consciously perceived.
Lovers from the past will reincarnate in the same time frame again & again. Although they will not remember events of their past lives when they meet in their next life, they will be strongly attracted to each other, & love will be renewed. In each NEW incarnation the love will deepen; hopefully it will grow more unselfish, & after many lives, love is perfected.
He then goes on to say, There is absolutely no doubt in my mind, that men and women, together in this lifetime, have been together before. Even if their involvement is only a brief affair, there was a reason they needed to touch again. Today's situation could be explained by what happened yesterday. Or to put it another way, because of "cause & effect" which is karma.
Karmic history explains why you are so immediately attracted to some people, & also why you are repulsed by others. It accounts for the old adage, "Love is Blind." Your meeting was pre-destined to occur as a CLASSROOM for your own soul's growth.
In the book, Destiny of Souls-New Case Studies of Life Between Lives, the author writes a section on soulmates and their past lives together. During hypnosis, the author learned that on the Other Side or Heaven, souls plan out how they will meet on Earth & how they recognize each other.
He says that many soulmates have a preparation class just before their next incarnation & that a feature of this dress rehearsal with our (spirit) guides is a final review of important issues in the life to come. One aspect of this prep class might also include two soulmates going off alone and sending visual images to each other of what they will look like in their NEW human bodies & under what circumstances they are going to meet.
He also discusses a small section that he wrote in another book called, Journey of Souls in that soulmates do not always get together before departure (or incarnating in a human body on Earth). But he says that depending on the karma involved, sometimes one soul knows more than the other about their future meeting & what the person will look like.
Here is a short example of a soulmate who is being regressed by Dr. Newton and is recalling or remembering a past life in which he discusses the planned meeting of his future wife in human form:
I was permitted to see my wife in the screening room for the next life. She was an attractive aerobics instructor who I would meet in a gym. I studied her body and facial features carefully because I didn't want to mess up our meeting, as I had done in a prior life. The scent of her body bathed in sweat was embedded on my mind... her gestures... her smile... and most of all her EYES. The moment I saw her in this life it was like two magnets pulling together.
In the book, You Were Born Again to Be Together, the author writes, The chain of cause and effect would trace everything that has ever happened in the universe back to some original cause. When the effect is felt in man, the cause was set in motion by the mind. The effects you are feeling now, both positive and negative, are the results of causes from this lifetime or previous lifetimes. The seeds (cause) you are sowing now will bring forth the effects yet to come in this lifetime or future lifetimes.
If you've made mistakes in a personal relationship or marriage, you can use the time you have, to learn from them. You do have the choice to rise from such negative karma-now.
Mr. Sutphen then goes on to say that he believes some marital relationships are destined to end because the two individuals have learned all they can from each other in this life & that new opportunities are waiting for both. He says that if you make the decision to part, try to do so without developing negative karma. Negative actions and emotions will produce negative karma. If this is the result, the two will have to go through it all again & probably with the same individual... in another life & in other bodies, until they've learned the lessons they set out to learn.
In his experience of past life regression and research, Mr. Sutphen has learned that in some cases, divorce is the primary reason for two people having come together in the first place. They have pre-determined the situation as a test of their own soul's growth- to see if they have evolved to the point of parting under positive circumstances.
Everyone has many things to learn in a lifetime. We all come into this life with much intuitive understanding (the learning from our past lifetimes) which we will hopefully apply when the time comes, when the crisis develops. If we do, we have learned wisdom & we won't have to learn that lesson again. It will time for new learning...
