A Reminder To Always Share Your Gifts & Talents With Others

I pulled this card for myself in a 3 card reading. It's meaning is so powerful to me that I thought I would share it on my blog as a reminder to whomever reads this post that they should always share their gifts, talents, and abilities with others.

STONE OF SELF-13
Thirteen has an energy vibration of regeneration and change. But it is mostly about POWER.

"When you have any doubts about your abilities, the Stone of Self card serves as a reminder that you need only look within. We are all born with a purpose and the opportunities to fulfill it. Recognize that your true power comes from discovering and using your potential to make a positive contribution to the world. The Stone of Self card calls on you  to share your gifts with others. We sometimes lose sight of our gifts because  of life's circumstances, fear, negative thoughts, or criticism from others. Yet the gifts you are born with never leave you...

Nurture your strengths. Recognize and appreciate what you can do when you are aligned with your true self. This is where you are meant to be, so look beyond yourself and your fears. Broaden your horizons, and seize this opportunity to help make a difference in the world.

PRAYER - Help ME, Great Spirit (God, Source, Universe), to see beyond my own needs to that of all my relations, and the world. Guide me to claim my true power by developing and sharing my gifts with others in a loving manner.

Accidents, Illnesses & Diseases Can Show Us Acceptance & Self-Love

Sometimes we have (life challenges) accidents -minor or major which can be a blessing in disguise. It depends on how you look at it. Do you wanna play victim of your circumstances and curse the world, throw a pity party? I've always chosen to learn from my circumstances and help others to be more wise and do things differently.

I've had several accidents including two concussions, permanent scar in my head and arm as a reminder each and every day. I also sprained my ankle really bad, ugh... I was so angry, I just wanted to feel normal & do things the way I was comfortable doing them... I use to think what could I have done differently-pain sucks! How could I be so stupid, so inpatient?! Why didn't I just stay home?! Another one of my thoughts was, "That's what I get for thinking I was such a bad ass lmao!

But now I that I am "awake" older and wiser I've come to realize that life was telling me to slow down & to accept myself imperfections and all... And that the Universe was telling me to enjoy life & to tell others about my experience in order to help them. These accidents and others made me go inward and spend more time by myself contemplating the meaning of it all... The meaning of life...

Another way of looking at it, is that at least two of these accidents that involved a car and a motorcycle could have simply been exit points. For those that have never heard of "exit points" these are times in our lives where we can choose to shed these bodies and return home to our Creator (God). From what I've learned, we supposedly have 5 exit points. Upon the 5th, you're done, lol. I truly believe that everyone (both adult and child) die when they are supposed to and not a moment sooner.

I believe we are souls that choose to incarnate on Earth to learn things from an emotional level. On The Other Side (Heaven) everything is perfect. It is only here on Earth where we have access to learn certain things that we otherwise could not learn in a perfect enviornment. As humans we learn empathy and compassion. We learn what's right and what's wrong.  Some say there is no right or wrong  & no good or bad. They are simply human experiences. Most of all, it is very important to learn self-love.

When we return home (Heaven), we go through a life review. No one judges us. But we judge ourselves and our actions. Sometimes when we grow through the human experience & we return back to God, we return with emotional scars & blockages. In heaven we understand on an intellectual level why we went through certain things on earth, but it is only by returning here to earth, where these can be removed. Thus the point of reincarnation & or karma. God is love! He/She does not punish... We are loved so much that we get to come back and make things right...

I would like to refer to a section from the book, Your Soul's Plan-Discovering the Real Meaning of the Life You Planned Before You Were Born by Robert Schwartz.

"Life challenges are simply a method to slow souls down so they may actualize the beauty around them. The slower you feel your movement on Earth, the higher the celestial vibrational frequency. Pain & suffering are some vehicles of choice, & some beautiful ones  (souls) pick that because they are taking on the pain of others so they may live life on Earth free of pain. This is one of the highest forms of human sacrifice-to give your earthly body so others may live a life of sensorial delight & freedom from pain & suffering. You are not given more than you can handle, but some souls choose to move more rapidly through the veils of conscious development in a particular lifetime. Miracles happen, & choices may be made to change things. Earth pain & suffering may not always transform on the physical plane (earth), but the thoughtform of positive vibration chosen by the bearer of the pain may be altered. Those who live with challenges are sometimes heroes & heroines who exemplify transcendence on the Earth. And so it is..."

How To Heal Grief From The Heart & Not The Mind

When we understand the value of grieving, we may be inclined to think that we should cry. On a non-physical (spiritual) level, the energy of should is incompatible with true healing.

When we think we should grieve, we are using our intellect to control the normal process of our hearts. When we tell ourselves that we "should", "must," or "have to" do something, we are allowing the mind to set the vibration at which we act. Yet, far more important than what we do is the frequency in which we do it! In other words, is what you are doing coming from your heart or (intellectual) responsibility? When we do things from a heart-centered space we are in a higher vibrational frequency & send out more love to the world.

Every act and every thought has a frequency and is felt throughout the Universe for we are all connected. We are part of the One! Each and everyone of us is part of the whole (God). Think of the ocean as Creator, God, or Source. When we take water out of the ocean it may have been separated from its original source, but it is still part of the ocean. Just like in physical form, we appear to be separated from each other and from those that are deceased. Yet, we are still connected & I believe that connection is love.

To cry because we should is to mourn through and with the ego. To cry because we want to is a gentle and loving way to nurture ourselves. Spirit never abandons us in our grief, and no one mourns alone. The solitary mourner is surrounded and embraced by a caring family of spirit guides, angels, & the departed whose love for us is transcendent. Bodies die, love does not. As we think of those who have returned to spirit, the energy of our thoughts calls them to us.

They are able to place ideas in our minds-both when we are awake and even more so when we dream-and feelings in our intuition. Because they are now energy unencumbered by physical restrictions, they can communicate through devices like telephones.

Like spirit guides and angels, they can arrange for coincidences that guide, heal, and otherwise benefit us. It is not uncommon for example, for a grieving person to be guided to (and then adopt) a stray animal shortly after losing someone. I believe this is a way for spirit to bring joy to the person (s) that is grieving. The love we have for our pets is pure & unconditional.

Loved ones in Spirit are able to create familiar scents, such as cologne or perfume they used when they were still in physical form. They have us notice these scents as a way of communicating to us that they are still connected to us-just in a different way.

Our grief sometimes interferes with our ability to receive their messages, but our openness to the presence of deceased loved ones is an invitation to them to work healing miracles in our lives.

Love & Light,

Dee
